transfer case breather?

transfer case breather?
Finally putting humpty dumpty back together again - but, I cant figure out where the breather hose off the top of the transfer case goes to. Thought it went to the top of the 6 speed manual tranny. The hose has two clips to attach to somewhere. Any ideas?
What started out to be just a hyd. slave cyl. going out turned into a broken clutch fork. So the clutch kit went in while I hade her apart. Old girl is a 99' F350 SD. Crew 4X4 PSD. 6 speed.

I don't know if this applies, I have an AT, but mine goes forward to the front of the transmission, makes a 180 turn and ends. The open end of the vent hose is just about in line with the right front corner of the transmission pan.
