well i hear of everyone say they can burn there tires in 80 econ and roast them in 120 race. Well today i hammered on my truck for a stop in 80 no tire spin and than went to 120 race and still didnt get NO tire spin. Im running 285s, would this be the chip or something else messing up.
Mebbe you just got good tires . . . I dont spin either. I dont really try to, but I've romped on it and it just doesnt. Which is fine. They're too expensive to go grinding them up. I just said the other day though, weight, tires, a LS or locker, gearing, that can all play a role.
How's it drive? Thats your litmus test.
One other thing you may consider. If you have a boost leak or your fuel pump isn't quite up to par you wont feel any difference from 80 - 120. I had the boost leak problem.
yea when i hit the brakes a lil and punched it on 120 race i blew my turbo id be careful now im sitting here with no truck and going to be down 600 some odd dollars to buy a rebuilt turbo and no new go faster parts
only other way is too take all the boots off..clean all the ends of the IC pipes..wash all boots in dawn dish soap..look close for cracks and pin holes..then put it back together making sure all clamps are clean...
