Wipers/cruise
Hey...I have a 96 4.0 RANGER 5spd 124K and wipers that only work on high. Also the cruise control is not working....are they related as far as fuse or relays go? Thanks -Ron

OK, well if this is a factory cruise control, be sure to check the in cabin cruise control fuse # 15. If thats ok, then check both rear brake light lamps, if thats ok, then pull & check the cruise control activation switch.
Fordsflylow brings up a good point on the trailer wiring harness, that I had forgotten, I've heard of some aftermarket trailer wiring harness/plugs, causing problems, so if you have one installed, try disconnecting it & see what happens with the CC.
On the wipers, some have had success removing the multifunction switch & cleaning the contacts. Others have had success spraying a plastic safe, electrical contact cleaner into it, others have used WD-40 on it & the cruise button.
Just some more things to ponder.
