Where does everyone recommend getting a new seat cover? I have a '77 f-250 and I was looking on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-96...spagenameZWD1V
I know we don't have the armrests, but for this price, it's very nice. Would this work?
JKessler00 - From the hills of East Tennusea - Welcome aboard. There are a bunch of places for seat covers. Some are already listed. JC Whitney and several of you local auto parts houses have, or can order them.
I just got in my velour seat cover from you know who (they don't sponsor here)...I had to drill additional holes on the top application as the seat cover is a little big, be sure to have some needle nose pliers handy as there is a reason that the holes in the back are oval (to fit the tool in). Good luck!
I got a great kit from Fryers Auto Upholstery. Check my gallery for the before and after shots. Black Velour with Vinyl trim. It was about 200 dollars.

That cover looks great! Did you put it in yourself? Was it easy?
Yeah, I did it myself and it was my first time. You have to take the bench seat completely out--4 bolts. then you have to cut the old material off, after that you can start putting the new cover on using the metal clips and pliers that they send you. It was real easy and only took about 1-2hours.
you guys said seat covers and i thought about the old walmart tie on pieces of crap. i got one for christmas one year. what a pain, it always slid. just plain junk. so buyer beware.
The reason I originally wanted a seat cover is because the one on it is a rickity old wool cover. The previous owner of my truck pieced it together from about three other trucks, so the cover was covering a blue seat in a red truck. Tonight, as I was browsing through a local auto parts store, I got this brilliant idea.....paint the blue seat with Dupli-color's new vinyl and fabic paint! The seat is in great shape, it's just ugly. Now, it should look like new. I can't wait to get it done and back in!
