Help...won't start

i have a 97 crew cab automatic psd. yesterday morning i started it and backed it out of the way...last night i went to start it and it will not do anything....batteries are charged good, i can hear the glow plugs come on when i turn the ignition switch to on...but when i turn it on over to start i get nothing, no clicking like nothing. any suggestions? i have never had any problems with this until yesterday.

Just a few guesses, solenoid, starter cable, starter? Any one of those things sounds like it could be bad to me.

Check the batteries for power. Turn on the lights to see if they are bright. Then I would try the starter. Try taping on the solenoid with a small hammer. Check cables

Check the neutral switch. move the trans selection lever while trying to start

thanks for your help guys....all i did was wiggle the shifter in park and lo and behold she started right up...must not have been in park good enough....thanks again.
