towing(properly equiped)

This question has got to get old,but i got all the info the first time.I hope
1977 Ford 150 4x4
351M with 4 row radiater,C-6 trans cooled by cooler the size of the radiator(almost),and part time transfercase. With 3.50 gear ratio.

The trucks hitch is rated at 10,000 weight distributing.I have wd hitch system(rated at 12,500).

Trailer is a big-tex 12,000 heavy duty bumper pull(with trailer brakes on both axles)They are controled by some break controler I got from an old farm truck. It works though(I sometimes stop the whole truck with the trailers brake(manually activitaed).

So as you can tell my stuff is way over rated,so the weight factor is all on the truck.I use my big 350 for bigger stuff, but I like using my old truck when I can.Sorry this question has to be asked again.

Thanks alot

That truck itself is not rated to pull that trailer. My 79 F350 DRW 460/C6 3.73 was only rated for a 10k trailer. Asking a F150 with smaller engine, lighter suspension, and less rear stabilization to pull more weight? Pushing it.
