If I get the 2.5inch leveling kit. (probably the one most people recommend off Ebay) Do I also need to get an add a leaf for the back? I'm looking to put on some 33X12.50's, and want a nice level stance. Thanks for the input!
I stuck a 2.5" on mine and also ordered the replacement 3" block from Autosprings off of eBay. With just the leveling kit the truck was dead level. Maybe even a tad bit nose high(I do have a toolbox slam full of tools also). 3 of my friends got into the bed of the truck and it started getting nose high. When I put the block on it it gave it a slight rake but with the bed with stuff in it or with a trailer it is perfect ( It still looks pretty much level). It looked good with just the 2.5" but I always got weight towards the back of the truck so it levels out pretty good now.
I checked out the pics in your gallery. I think the front end leveling kit with some new tires are gonna make my truck look sweeeeet!!!! I don't usually haul much, so I think i'll be good with just the front. Thanks for the info!!
Trust me, go for the l.5" rear add a leafs for the rear by SkyJacker...cost less than $200 and doesn't make your truck look goofy when accelerating or having even a small load in the rear (as you will see with only the 2.5" leveling kit...not sure about with 2" leveling kit?). Good luck!
I have the 2.5" leveling kit and no add a leaf with a "dog box" in the back at all times and my truck sits perfectly level. The box weighs right at about 100lbs. and with both my German Shepherd Dogs in the back that adds about another 140lbs.
