Are you trying to say he needs bigger tires? I think it looks good. You have to lift these trucks pretty high to get tires that don't look small. I have 315/75R16 M/Ts (about 35") and from the side, they look small. Just my oppinion.
Well I didn't mean to come accross so grumpy... lol just that the 05's and newer have 6" of backspace(I think) The DC wheels are 4.5". That's why they stick out so far. I'd be worried about premature bearing failure, chipped paint and cops looking to harrass ya.

Not taken that way. Actually the factory wheel backspacing is 5-1/2" and the backspacing on the Cepek wheels is 4-9/16". The fender flares will cure the paint chipping risk, and I understand what you mean about the bearings - something I will have to keep a close watch on.
As for the local cops, if they are going to harrass me over this setup, there are a lot of trucks in my area that are lifted 6" or more that are running substantially bigger/wider tires than I - including the local hwy patrolman that lives down the street.... It might be different if I was a young kid out hot rodding and cruising around though. I've got way to much grey hair for them to make that mistake.
What he is trying to say is in most places it is illegal to run a tire that sticks out past the wheel well because it can throw objects at other cars very easily. Here in IL they test it by dropping a coin from the edge of the fender, if it hits the tire you can be ticketed. If you are adding fender flares you should be fine though, as long as they are wide enough to cover the tires. (Yes a lot of vehicles are out there running around with their tires sticking out, but that doesn't mean a cop couldn't bust you if he wanted to)
looks good! did you do the install yourself? ive been debating which kit i want to get? what did you pay? and was the install fairly easy if you did it yourself?
