Dash and trailer lights
On my 80 Bronco when I'm towing my flatbed trailer the dash lights will go out after about 2hrs of driving, and when the dash lights go out all of the lights on the trailer will go out. They will go on and off every few secs. I replaced the headlight switch last summer when this first started, and now it is starting again. Is there a relay on the headlight switch?

I don't believe there is a relay, when you pull the *** your "closing the relay". I bet what it is, since you mentioned it happens when towing, is your trailer cables are wearing on the truck's frame and grounding out. Try turning on the lights and giving it a good wiggle test on all of the cable and connectors.
