got a 95 bronco with 5.0, sometime when you try starting it when its cold it wont start unless you feather the gas a little and then when it does start it sounds like its loaded with fuel really bad until you get a couple of revs out of it to clear it out,, and it will be fine for awhile,,, would this be a fuel presure regulator problem??
could very well be. pull the vacum line and see if gas comes out. that would mean bad fpr , also check your fuel pressure at the rail with a gauge. also check your oil and smell it for gas. if gas is in the oil do not drive it anymore, it could cause engine failure
pulled a code 33 egr valve opening not detected, i know what the egr does, and i know they rarley go bad, and usually have to cleaned do to carbon build up,, does this sound like a possibility for a hard start

The sensors do go bad often though... Also, is that a fresh tank of gas? Could simply be vapor lock.
when was it tuned up last with new copper plugs, wires, cap, rotor and fuel filter? also check timing with spout connector removed once vehicle reaches temp
its been doing this for awhile and continully gets worse, just did a tune up on it and replace the fuel filter and fuel pump about 3 months ago, im going to try cleaning the egr out tomarrow and hopefully that will solve, going cheap and easy first
i have not checked the timing but i am almost positive that is not it,, it only does this once in awhile not all the time,, i checked the egr and it is clean and working,, i had another hint from a ford guy saying it may be a throttle position sensor
I have the same issue right now. all the top end sensors have been replaced and no codes come up at all. I am changing out the Distributor on it now do to the TF Ignition module on the side it. I have been told that this could be why I am experiencing some similar issue. But Mine also feels and sounds like it is missing when it is at running temp right around 1500 to 22-2500 rpm (this is when it is most apperant)
