How do you change head studs?
Just curious, does the head gasket need to be replaced to change the head studs?
Also, about how much do good studs cost and how much does instalation usually cost?
My truck is back to stock now after having the head gasket and egr cooler replaced and I really miss the power.
However, I want to make sure it wont "fail" again before programming it.

I have heard people say they have replaced the bolts with A/M studs before without removing heads and replacing the gaskets, and it might be possible if you replaced them one at a time. BUT, I would not advise it. While you are in I would recomend having your heads checked for flatness and possibly have them decked. Fords idea of true and what is desired are two different things.
