[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Dec-02 AT 08:20 AM (EST)]I want to know where and if my 2000 Ford F150 has a Speedo gear and if it is located on the transmission. Does the Speedo Gear have teeth and if so, how many? What color and how many teeth is the question I have to get a new one from Ford.

 

If I remember correctly, 1998 was the last year Ford used an actual gear for the speedometer. Now you have to go to a dealership and get the computer recalibrated.
