more trouble

Just when i thought i had all the bugs out of my truck's fuel system it break's down again.Again i have no fuel.I have a new rear pump,, new fuel relay but no power to sending switch. i went thru the process the last time tracing wires and cleaning the terminals thru the firewall..The relay clicks ok.Do i need tnt to put her out of her misery? Ps this happened at about midnite so i had to get a ride home, it has been running fine on the rear tank for a while now. The front tank just up and quit before.

yeah I'll bet it was frustrating, that was just the first thing that came to mind, no it shouldnt trip by itself.

do you have power to the FP relay, but not at the pump? thats how I understood your first post and why i thought inertia switch

finally found the problem on the rear tank, bad ground by radiator, hope that works for front tank too.I need to get the time to remove the wires and clean them all, but for now runs good onthe rear tank.

yes, it is the big hose (outer) the smaller hose is in the tank but the bigger one was ripped and won't seal around the opening.
