i am trying to fined a 56 front valence aftermarket that is made of steel and and dose not have the cut outs for the frame horns , dose anybody know where i could find one. thanks ron
Mid fifty has a ad for them in there catalog but no picture or price. I'm sure other vendors have them I just happen to have there catalog handy.
I did my own and of coarse the first trip out a stone jumped up and hit right in the area where there is some filler, a little less now. Good thing mine's a 25 footer.
Next go around I probably will replace the pan with one like your looking for
I have never seen one without cutouts...that is, none made of steel. All the fiberglass units have the cutout filled. Best bet is to weld in filler plates.

I picked up a fiberglass one. The company is B&E fiberglass out of Minnesota. They make the gravel pan with and without the bumper mount cut outs. I think I paid $125 for the piece. If anyone is interested in contacting them, I'll post their number. (no web address)
Nice stuff. My dad used their fenders and running boards on his '30 Ford coupe. We were both VERY impressed with the quality.

we now offer a 1955-56 fiberglass front valance without the cutout and and is a new item for us. At this time it is not in our catalog, or on our web page, so email me or call and get more details
Ron,
Do you have the original valance? Have you considered just fillling the cut-outs with steel? I would guess it would even be cheaper to pay a bodyman to fill them than buying another one. Just another approach.
