As for your 6.0....did you get an OASIS report on it? That will tell you the background on it.
My oasis came back clean so I bought mine with the extended warranty back in Feb of this year. So far, I've had brake work done and they've had to replace the instrument cluster....that's it. Keep the filters changed and drive the heck out of it. The more you use them, the better they like it!
I did not do an oasis. Not sure what that is? However...Can you get warranties on them independent...and if so where? It must have taken a while to update...as I put that in and yesterday and never saw it come up.
Did the warranty cover the brakes and the cluster? How many miles when you bought the truck? I'm thinking you're refering to the King Ranch..
Well at the top of this forum it says what an oasis is and someone helping with it so i am doing that...but how do you get the warranty, which appears to be Ford from that posting....must the oasis look good?
Do a search for warranties... you should come up with several posts that talk about them.
Mine had 34K on it when I bought it in Feb....it has 49K now. Yeah....I love driving this truck! As for the warranty work, brakes are durable items and not covered but with the 100 dollar deductable it cost me @200 bucks which was reasonable. The cluster and it's replacement was all under warranty (but would have cost me another 300 if I had to pay for it.
The OASIS may take till Monday...most guys only work M-F.

I have the same kinda story...I flew a 727 in 1989. We were on Mexicana ptv-lax with my HS spanish teacher. I went up to the front to talk to the guys. i speak spanish plus fly...good for me to get up front! They closed the door and I got to sit right seat and fly it. He let me fly forover 1 hr and all the way to 5K on the approach. It was awesome!.>>The teacher was pissed!!! He wrote the airline and everything. I didnt tell him I flew. He was mad enough they let someone up there.
Also worked ramp ticket counter for united in BFL..then the express carrier when they pulled out..>Got to do those training flights all the time at night and flew the EMB 120 from BAKO to SFO for a drunk pilot. The FO took Left I got right and flew all the way to the numbers. This crew was crazy...and crazy with the flight attendants..This was a repositioning flight they got called to run and it was in 91 I think or something like that..Have to check when the EMB first came out (thats the Brisalia)...anyway...so no home ..i dint care if the crew was messed up, I knew I could fly it...
