Still running rough.
I thought it would clear up but it hasn't. Shee idles around 700-800 Rpm and shacks the truck. She is a 1987 F-350 diesel with banks turbo, new injectors, return lines, fuel filter, CDR valve, yet she still smokes blue at start up and at highg idle (1500 or so). I know blue smoke is normaly oil, but I don't think it's oil, I think it's diesel. What should I check next?

have you checked the cdr valve to see if it's clogged? mine had a little blue smoke that i noticed at startup. may have smoked running down the road, but didn't look for it. cleaned up the cdr valve and the idle blue went away. just a simple thought from a simple man.

Fast idle should be 850+- 50, hot idle should be 650+- 50 (auto in drive) or manual in neutral. Make sure all the injector lines are in the right position on the IP. Looking from the rear....starting at 1 oclock.......5,4,3,7,2,1,8,6

CDr valve new, didn't take lines off pump and haven't done comp. check. What kind of compression gauge would you'll recomend? Thanks for responding, I really want to get it running right.
