Hello have a couple questions i hope someone can help me with.
I have a 1989 Ford F-250 with towing package can anyone tell me how manny inches it should be from center of wheel to bottom of finder it has a small lift but i am not sure of the size. I am putting new tires on and tring to figer out if i can go with 33x12.5x 16.5 without rubbing and bumping i think it should work with np. My other question is how wide of rim should i have to run 12.5 tires and how wide should i have to run 10.5 tires. Last questin, I have 2 sets of rims for this 16 and 16.5 other than looks any pros and cons to one or the other. Thankyou
10.5 tires should have an 8" rim, 12.5 tire on a 10" rim. 33" rubber will likely fit, but unless you have 4:10 gearing performance and towing capacity will suffer.
you can run a 12.5 wide tire on 8" rims if thats what you have. also a 16" rim would be better then 16.5. most 16" rim size tires have a better load rating and will also hold a beed better when aird down compared to the 16.5.
