Trouble code P0460

I have a 06/F250 PSD. About 3 weeks ago I went with a turbo back 4 in. straight exhaust system. Everything is great. Yesterday the trouble light came on. I used my Hypertech programmer and found the trouble code to be P0460. My understanding it has to do with emissions. I cleared the code. When I started the truck this morning it appeared again. Is this happening because of the exhaust system upgrade. Can I do something to keep this from happening each time I start the truck.
Thanks,
Ken Bailey

You might try asking in the 6.0 forum, but the code is this:

P0406 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit High

Please list all mods and mileage on your truck.

The P0460 DTC is a problem with the Fuel level sensor. Instrument cluster is sensing an open or short circuit in the Fuel level sensor.

This has nothing to do with the exhaust system install unless, you damaged some of the wiring when you were working on the engine.

Only way this DTC will go away is to take it to a qualified 6.0 tech, have them diagnose it and repair the problem. Also do not clear the DTC again as the tech will need it.
