This is the new school bus for the bad side of town. Take a gander at what its powerd by.

Its got the heart and soul (meaning chassis) of a ford

God it says it can go 105mph that thing would have the force of a train at that speed.

eek...that thing is ugly...and really should NOT have the name "HUMMER" attached for FORD anything!...IMO.

HAHAHAHA, that's pretty funny. I like the one I had in Iraq better and it only cost about $70,000. The invoice was still inside when I got it. Then they added some high tech C3, a bad a$$ bumper, a search light, a siren and a belt-fed machinegun. We added the set of steel nuts on the back.

Its basically an F550 with armor. Read where it says engine. It says 325 hp and 405 hp?

I think they meant 405 ft/lbs of torque. I'm also not buying the 22.5" tires. The standard military tire used on HMMWVs is 37x12.50R16.5. Also, I didn't see anything about the weight. I know that a "bare-bones" M1114, before they start adding stuff, weighs 10,200 lbs. After the adding all the high tech C3 equipment, additional bolt-on armor, bad s$$ bumper, "secret squirrel" gear, weapons and ammo it has to weigh over 12,000 lbs. I would think that limo is pushing 20,000 lbs easy. You would need tires with a load rating of at least 3,500 lbs each.

405 hp, they must have a programmer on it, especially if its gonna do a 105. so torque would probly be around 750 or something.

You know, my biggest problem with that whole rig is that it is pretty ineffective as far as todays warfare. And being a brand new purpose built vehicle, it should fit in with todays hazards. Granted, you could ride down a street that is nothing but a shooting gallery and probably survive, but one single IED and that thing is toast. The under carriage is WIDE OPEN. All of the new IED resisitant armored vehicles have an under carriage that is sloped on each side toward the center with armor plating. It directs the force of the blast up and out torward the side. The problem with all the vehicles is not that the blast rips up through the floor, the problem is the blast lifts the vehicle up and flips it on its side and top, crushing the occupants. Not only does that rig not have sloping armor, it has drop down sides that will act like a parachute, containing the force of the blast and directing it straight up.

That said, I would still take them. I would fix one, then give the rest to celebrities I don't like.
