I have an F150 4x4 that I got used. The truck has 265/75 16 on it. The originals were 235/70 16. I was wondering how much of a difference there is in these two tire sizes. Drivability? Problems?
Driveability and problems depend on the type/brand of tire and previous use. The size difference between those tires is about 1.6 inches, so there will be changes to your effective gearing and speedometer. With a comparable tire (don't compare a mud tire and a street tire) and similar wear and tear, I don't think there should be much difference in the ride or increased problems. My 99 originally came with 265/70r17 All terrain type tires. Probbaly real close to your current tire setup.
i have the same size tires on my 98 4X4 (bfg at) and i have had nothing bad to say about them execpt i am going to go bigger. i figured out that you speedo will be off about 10% from actual. so if you want to go 55 set the cruse at 50(i figured it out with my odometer and at every mile my odometer read .9)

When I purchased my truck from a friend, they had put 285x75x16's on it and previously had 265x75x16's which they gave me also. The sticker in the door jam says P235x70x16. I was thinking about going back to that original size. Would the difference be real noticable? From 285x75x16 to 235x70x16???
