Removing Emblems??

I am going to change the emblems on my late '99 to the later ones-the '05-'06 ones.....what is the best way to remove the old ones to try and avoid scratching or nicking the paint?? Thanks!

That just might work.....I was also thinking about spraying may be a silicone spray or soapy water to aid with lubrication too.
