'00 F250 SC SB V10: Spring Code
I have "TA" spring-code on my '01 F250 SC SB 4x4 w/V10. The only reason I even have the T's in front was the heavy-service suspension upgrade which brings the front springs up a level, and adds the overloads in the back.
"V" in front would be two steps up from the ones I currently have. Which would be snow-plow package for a gasser (maybe), a diesel, or some other REALLY heavy-duty suspension package if it exists.
I seriously do not think you have the "V" front springs. Did the backs come with overloads?
On an even better note, a leveling kit (single leaf) or going to a good leaf-spring shop, you can add a leaf (or two) ahead of time.
No overloads on the rear springs. The former owner said he took the "bottom, straight looking leaf" out to apply to his lift springs. He no longer has the truck, but I understand it was a pretty basic other than the above mentioned. What I have is a left over pack with only 4 leaves. I understand stock has at least 5 leaves??
Yes, I agree, I don't think I have the V's either. The whole debate is whether or not these freebies are worth putting on. I'd hate to do all the work and find out I don't have much of an improvement in the ride. I may be better off doing as you said, going to a spring shop or holding out until I can get a hold of what I am really after. Maybe more owners will chime in with what they have.
Thanks Much

Anyone?
