Not to fond of the black things going from the headlight to the fog lights, otherwise its a slick looking car, wish we got the good stuff here.

What do ya think it would cost to have one of those shipped here, and do they come in triple black?

Ford could so gain some market share with that car in the US. Bunch 'o blockheads.

Well, luckily we have the Ford 500...er Taurus...yeah that should be good enough...

I guess Ford thinks that it won't sell well here. Ford needs to realize what their customers want.

Yeah some things I don't understand about Ford, leaving some pretty nice cars out of the US market, then post poor financial results. Does not make any sense.

I second that, who needs a DOHC 5.4L with 387 and 427 hp when I can have my wittle bittie V6.......

Damn "furrin" Fords!

Hey Fred, any guess on the price of the V8 option?

A LOT - especially with the current exchange rate.
and do they come in triple black?
Yup.
Not to fond of the black things going from the headlight to the fog lights, otherwise its a slick looking car,
They are only on the performance versions...

My answer might seem a bit odd - but ALL of our cars are mucho more expensive here. (small island market)
And the V8 option comes with lots of other crappola (aforemention 6-speed, LSD, upscale trim, 18" wheels, better brakes, suspension, tires, aero package etc.)
All in all it costs about 11k over a "taxi" model. (in perspective about 30% of the base model price)
At the moment we have the 3V 5.4 V8 as an option (and it doesn't require the other stuff) - and it is only like 1.5k over the base 6.

To be honest though - the turbo 6 eats the V8 for lunch (look at the torque figures, and then take into account that torque runs from 2k-4.5k and you will understand why)

My god that is a sweet looking 4 door car! Too bad it will most likely never become available over here.

With Pontiac rebadging the Holden Commodore and selling it as the G8, maybe that will entice Ford into bringing over the Falcon.....

.........well a guy can dream can't he?
