Blew the left bank head gasket this morning, WTF! I just had the right bank go and now Im up and runnin again then BLAM! the left bank goes out??/??/?? And Im not the only one havin this issue it seems. My stealer dealer told me that there have been atleast five that he knew of off the top of his head that have been having the same issue. Anybody else havin issues?
As you have seen first hand you can get a truck with issues no matter what engine it has in it. I wish you luck on getting it resolved.
Did they replace both gaskets last time or just the one side???
For what it is worth my local tech is also my best friend and he has not heard of any repeating issues with the 6.4 as of yet and has not had any with Head gasket issues. Lets hope it was as you have stated in the past an error in the manufacturing process....
I trust Ford will get you back on the road in no time.

Are you talking about a pinched head gasket do to poor installation as you stated before, or are you talking a bad head gasket or streched head bolts, what did the dealer state the actual problem was?
Dealer hasnt told me what the cause of this headgasket issue is yet. I cant imagine it being due to lifted heads. Hopefully its just another tech error as it was before. I should hopefully have the truck back tomorrow.

Your lucky to have such a nice dealer in your area.
If I had a tuner and straight pipes on a new rig they would deny my warranty and flag my vehicles VIN.
Two pinched gaskets seem unlikely though. Did they inspect the other side when they did the first gasket?

I dont have the tuner installed yet. I havent had the chance to, the truck has been plaqued with head gasket issues.
I doubt they inspected the other side when the right bank went out. Im hopin it is just another pinched gasket. We'll see, i sure hope its not a lifted head issue.

I would bet the other side was already leaking when they did the first gasket.
Do they have to lift the cab again or did they discover the leak before they buttoned it up?
