fuel pump wiring

Hey guys, my 1995 f150 4x2 l6 is giving me some front fuel pump problems. It worked the day before yesterday, but i shut if off, and went to start it the following day (yesterday) and it would not run with the front tank, so i flipped it to the rear, and it started. I put fuel into the front tank to be sure that that want the problem, and on my way home from the gas station, i tried putting it into the front tank, it worked for a couple seconds, and it stopped. Ive narrowed this down to the wiring on the front fuel pump.

I just want to know any tips on how to follow the wiring from the front fuel pump, and if or how i can find the wiring directly at the fuel pump without dropping the tank, cause i cant see the fuel pump. If you could let me know where at i should start following the trail of wires fromt the front tank, thatd be great.

Also, somone suggested i check behind the switch as well, do i have to remove the dash panel in that area or will it just pop off with a little effort.

Thank You

How did you do this?
Sounds like a bad fuel pump, but could be the switch on the dash.
I would not think the wiring is bad unless you snagged something and that should be obvious.
