Windshield Replacement
The manager never even talked to me, it was the assistant manager that I dealt with. Seemed strange to me, but whatever.
Anyway, it looks like a drill mark, but that is my personal take on what the damage looks like, it may have been caused by something else. I am not an installer, so I don't have a clue on the process or what is involved, but the pattern of scratches looks like something that was spinning was placed on the dash and it caught and ran off the edge. (If that explanation makes any sense)
I still haven't heard back from the shop and it has been almost two weeks. I guess I'll call them to get an update. (Why should I have to chase them is another question...)
With the current economic status of our city, shops are begging for employees. Not just the automotive, but everyone. It doesn't surprise me that someone without the necessary experience may have been working on my truck, which can account for the problems I am having. It's not just the automotive industry, it's city wide. If you loose your job today, you have you're choice of 3 more tomorrow.
Cheers,
Doug
