replace clutch master cylinder
I've searched the site for an answer to my problem, but can't find what I need! I have a 93 Ranger 4WD 4.0l 5speed. I replaced the clutch an slave cylinder, and while trying to bleed the system, I popped the piston out of the master. I got it back in, but now it leaks, so I got a new one. the question is - how do I get the D#$% thing out?? I can't get the push rod out of the master, I tried to pull the line off & found it has a drift pin holding it in - and NO room to remove it while it's in the truck! Do I need to remove the line at the bellhousing and pull the master, reservour, and line out as a unit??
Appreciate any help!

I think your truck would be basically the same as mine though mine is 2wd and yes, you have to pull the clutch master cylinder as a complete unit. The pushrod is not designed to come out of the cylinder so you have to take the line off (quick coupler) at the trans bell housing and remove the pushrod/cylinder/hose as an assembly. I think the reservoir hose that goes up to the little cup will slip right off so you don't have to deal with it being tangled in the mess.
Hope this helps.
