Hi guys, I need some good advice. I purchased a wiring harness off of ebay but it didn't include a wiring block/fuse panal. The wiring harness that I purchased is just like the original with the exception that there are three #8 gauge wires where there was only one that hooked to the head light switch. So I am thinking that these may all have to be connected together or use the other two as jumpers. One comes from the starter sylonoid, one from the volt regulator and the other from the light switch. I was never any good at this and would really appreciate any input. I am not ready to install it yet but just trying to think ahead. Thanks for any help. Doug
Sorry for the confussion. Let me try wording it this way. Hope this makes since.
Ok, I am working on putting a new wiring harness on a 56 ford f-250 pickup. The harness has 3 yellow wires that I don't know what to do with. One is coming from a terminal on the light switch where it shares a connection with another yellow wire from the ign. switch. Another comes from the S tab on the volt regulator and the last come from the starter sylonoid where it shares a connection with the battery cable. I assume that they must hook all together at the other end. There is about 8 inches of each one coming out of the harness with all of the other wires. Does that mean I need a fuse panal to connect them? Thanks for your help. As you can tell wiring is definitly not my strong suit.
Doug
