May need a new avatar.

Still collecting information but it appears that my partner in my airplane may have totaled the aircraft. He apparently went into some trees while landing in New York - somewhere on Long Island.

He is okay but from early reports one wing is bent, the prop is bent and no telling what else. Waiting to hear from the insurance company.

It really s*cks but stuff happens and noone was hurt. Planes can be replaced.

Time to start drinking.....

If it had to happen, at least it was him flying the plane and not you. At least you do not feel as bad as you would then!!

Lear?? If your going to upgrade might as well go BIG!!!! I hear Boeing has something along the lines of a 747 for private owenrship . Glad to hear that no one was hurt though, as you said planes can be replaced.

Yeah a BBJ would be nice, but you would need a loooooooooooootttttttttttttttttttttt of runway and I would hate to see your av gas bill...

Sorry for the loss, but from what has happened last week at least he was not injured. That is what insurance is for....

A 2007 Piper Archer with a glass panel may be in my future. Me and the partners are doing the numbers.

All glass would be very nice as it cuts down on the clutter.

The V-Tail was a Beechcraft Bonanza and I think it is out of production.

I think you should go for this:

Or my dream
