Question trans drip

I installed my mods last feb, I removed the tranny pan, reused the same gasket wiped it all clean etc. Then after the vb install i reinstalled everything and torqued it to the specs (tranny pan screws) now im getting a drinning from say the middle of the pan back and all the tranny screws have a little drip on them. It looks like the rubber gasket is seeping. You think just a little wrench on each screw will do the trick? I dont want to overtighten it since it is aluminum, or is a new gasket maybe in order since it was torqued to specs.. Jeff

I never try to reuse gaskets for this reason, even though the manual says it's ok to do so. I had a Ford dealer strip one of my pan bolts, so definitely don't over tighten them trying to fix the leak that way. Fortunately, the bolt that stripped was on a section of the case flange that allowed the use of a undersized bolt with a nut on the top of the flange. BTW, the dealer tried to hide their screw up, but when I got back to my RV park I applied gentle torque to all the bolts to make sure all were tight, and the stripped one was as loose as a goose and I could spin it with my fingers!
