Strange flasher problem on an '08
As some of you may know, I broke the left tow mirror on my '08. Well the replacement has arrived from Australia (yep, down under via Dearborn). I took the damaged one off and put this one on. Here's the problem.
The running lights work, but the signals do not.
The flash is normal speed with the headlights off and fast with the headlights on.
All the fuses and wires are good. The only damaged wiring was to the harness on the damaged mirror.
All the bulbs are good. I pulled the bulbs in both mirrors and visualy inspected them. The bulbs on the 4 corners of the truck are good.
I believe that the '08 has a new GEM and no flasher unit.
Oh yeah, no hydraulic blinkers on this truck.
