Engine Removal
I will be removing the engine in my F250 4x4 (5.0l) in a couple of months. I'm trying to decide if I should pull the engine alone or w/ the tranny (M5OD). If anyone has done this, please let me know what you think.

Engine Removal
I have done it both ways and I would go the extra mile in the beginning and pull both from now on. The extra pain up front is worth it to me (especially with the radiator out)over the pain (both physical and mental) of trying to get the engine to line back up with the tranny an the torque convertor bolts. It is a little messier with the tranny fluid and all but if you pull both you can at least change tranny filter and fluid while you are at it.
