94 PSD Reading codes

Friend of mine has a 94 PSD rollback. I have AutoEnginuity software. He asked me to scan it for codes. I had trouble getting connected. There is no 94 listed in the software. It starts at 95 for the PSD. I connected selecting 95. There are two codes listed. No live data would show. I recorded the codes and tried to clear them but they stayed. Person where I bought the AE software from said the PCM needs updated to latest flash for the AE software to work correctly. Has anyone every run into this issue?

I believe the 94 PSD's were OBD1 but they have both OBD1 and OBD2 connectors. Look under the hood on the drivers side near the firewall for the OBD1 connector.
