08 Escape Factory Stereo Question
I just purchased a 2008 Ford Escape V6 4WD Limited Edition that has the audiophile sound system. I have a nice aftermarket kicker sx series amp and sub that i want to hook up. I was wondering if anyone knows before i rip my dash apart if the stock audiophile on the 2008 escape (or similar models) has preamp rca outputs on the back of the radio or if anyone has been able to access the preamp signal before it goes to the factory amp even if it is regular wire and i can splice an rca cable into it. any input to help me out would be appreciated.

heh powerful is an understatement. i want to put polk audio SR5250 is both the front and rear. I have a kicker SX 700.4 amp for the speakers and a SX 650.1 amp for my kicker solo baric L7 12" sub. I have a pioneer head unit that i am using for the moment in it but i will be changing it to the Eclipse AVN7000 most likely.
