Ouch!!

I decided to take my hot rod out for a spin this morning. On my way back, about 3 miles or so from home, I get stung by a honey bee...right on the inner thigh. Another inch over and I would really be in pain So there I was, standing along side the roadway, with my pants halfway pulled down looking for the stinger...luckily it was out...the bee was crawling around on my seat. He must have stung me through my shorts. Good thing there wasn't much traffic...

lol, lucky you. Every time I walk out in my "back 40" I come back with woodticks. I'll be standing there checking myself at the back porch thinking "Oh please, don't have UPS show up."

Back before full-coverage helmets, it was pretty common to get a bee or wasp up inside the face shield while motorcycling... talk about fun!

On my Honeymoon (1972) the wife had her arm resting out of the passenger window as usual. Bee flew into her armpit and set the hook. There were were a few moments of insanity on that ride...........

A bee sting should feel pretty good if you've shot yourself in the hand with an oxy acetylene torch. Seen it happen..not pretty..or "aromatic"

Friend of my got stung 16 times the other day by bees when he started up his tractor to mow his lawn. Couple days later he tried it again and they went after him again. SO he ain't moving his lawn. Guess they were Africanized Bee's. He had to call out a professionals and they found a hive up in his pine tree. $700 to have is removed.

I had a honey bee get mad at me the other day for no apparent reason. He buzzed me for about 2 minutes as I tried to "just walk away".... then WHAM he stung me on the eye lid. When I went back to my car and looked in the mirror his stinger and butt were still attached to my eye lid....

Little bugger.

Ouch is right. Last summer I managed to ride through a bunch of bees on my motorcycle and had them get under my shirt. I ended up with about a dozen or so stings.....ugh

Well, all the more reason to get a chop top. I don't even want to know what happens in some of those 30's rods.

I can beat you, or at least my husband can. His jr year in high school he was playing football when the coach called him in the game. After the first play, he played nosetackle, he hit the quarterback and then fell to the ground in pain. They stopped the game thinking he hurt himself but they left his helmet on. After pleading for them to take it off they found 6 bees inside all dead of course.

And with him having a shaved head it didn't feel to good, either ...
