strategy vs. year model

I was recently speaking to someone about 6.0 and they said the strategy was important to tuning. When i read the strategy on my 2007 and gave it to them they said is was a 2005 w/ reflash. Is there anywhere i can verify this?
My strategy is VXCF4N3
