Thumbs up Baja 1000 Trip

I'm planning on chasing a buddy who's racing the Baja 1000.The race starts in Tijuana and ends in Cabo San Lucas.I've been down about half way before but going all the way down this time.

I want to see what you guys think would be good to keep on board.I know belts, hoses, etc. but what else would you carry drive train or electrical wise,Mark

An extra fuel tank....or maybe a fuel trailer!

Are you going to be going at the same pace as the racer while in your truck??

A COP (coil on plug).
At least one spark plug.
MAYBE a crank position sensor.
Relays - fuel pump mostly.
Fuses.

Alternator? Or at least a regulator?
