Auto Transmission Problem
My 97 F350 deisel had a rebuilt tranny put in at 98K. Fine until about 6 weeks ago. Check engine light comes on and O/D starts blinking. Sometimes happens as I start and stays on until I shift and have removed foot from brake. Then usually goes on w/out problem. However, once in awhile the check eng light and O/D start to blink while I am driving. Then it feels like the bottom falls out of the truck and it continues in "limp mode" for awhile until it seems to reset itself. Dealer has replaced 6 sensors and installed a new processor. Problem not solved. Rebuilt is still under warranty and need opinions. Is this electrical or mechanical? Don't want warranty to run out if need another tranny!

Joe-M, Thanks for replying. Mechanic out sick so need to wait until this week to see what codes were. Shifting feels a little hard but not consistently so. Some times shifts fine, other times seems a little jerky. As soon as I get the codes I will post them
