I'm in for at least one card, just sent a PM to get the shipping address. What do yall think about just going together and buying a few and sending them all off in one shot??

it was hard to find but the price on the 550 cards is about $28 ea.

Lemme know what yall think and if you have any ideas and we can get this rolling

Thanks for checking into this Duane. Whats the deal on the cards? Do you buy these on line and they send them somewhere? Do you have a choice of where to have them sent?

Been out working on Green now I need to head to the laundry mat to wash some sleeping bags.

Just a quick note before I leave. We have $61.50 in the chapter fund I have from 50/50 pots and donations. Do we want to and can we send a phone card or two from the chapter fund?

Sorry it took awhile to get back to this, had some internet issues lol.

From what I have found you purchase them online, then when it comes to the shipping information I have glruff's mailing address to have them shipped to and he will collect them all and make sure they get to where they need to be.

I wouldn't object to using part of the chapter fund to buy a card or 2. My thought would to be either Jack or myself collect donations to buy the cards and make 1 purchase for all the cards from the ks chapter, if someone does not feel comfortable with that I understand and they always have the option of going online and buying one themselves and having it shipped. Lets get some input guys on what you think we should do!!!!!

I leave town tomorrow so I won't be able to collect money for this. I can purchase the cards online as I'll have a computer with me. If it stays working.

It is my understanding that the Delaware Chapter has a gtg at an Air Show at an Air base on August 11th and want the phone cards to hand over at that time. It says it takes 4 days from the time you order the cards to get there. So I set the poll to end next early next Sunday morning the 5th and I'll purchase the cards online next Sunday if needed so they will get there in time. I plan to order one to send myself anyway so it won't really be anymore trouble. And if folks want I can order how ever many additional cards we need.

But if someone else wants to collect funds and do this that's fine also. Clint knows where the Chapter money is (if needed) and I can have Margaret write a check for the card I want to send.

Just let me know folks.

Fellow FTE members, thanks to those who supported this effort, we were able to collect almost $1,000 of prepaid phone cards to send to our Troops deployed overseas.

This represented approximately 17,000 minutes the troops can use talking with their family and friends at no personal cost to them. A total of 33 cards were either mailed directly to me or given to me at the show.

The picture is of Dominick Dinardo, Civ. USAF(left side) and me, just so you all know I did give them the cards (LOL). Dom is personally going to hand out the cards to troops deploying, representing all services, through the DAFB. They will not be given to troops stationed at Dover.

Take your right hand, put it over your left shoulder and pat vigorously. JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!!
