lock button inside doors?

the lock buttons inside both the driver and pass doors doesn't work but works at the rear door. The unlock buttons all work. Keypad also will lock the doors. Alarm I keep off. Fuse guide said it's on the same fuse as other things that do work? When I got the truck last year they did work! Any Ideas? Thanks.

I'll try to check that out. Forgot to mention it's a 97. Thanks

I have a 97, continual problem, I have added 2" section to relieve stress on wires that I have fixed.

In my case it was actually further back in the vehicle. In the original thread where I asked about my case (very similar to yours) I got a good detailed explanation about it.

See that here:

I was able to trace the wire back to a break further back in the vehicle. Jumpered over it and it was fine.

It might be of some help.
