Dalton came over last week with his yellow 79 4x4. Anyway outside of a new or show 79 that is the cleanest one I have ever seen. Yellow, 4x4, short bed, 400 ci, c6, a/c. Absolutely nice!
Replaced the Tie Rods & Drag Link today and snugged up the front hub nuts.
This improved the steering but still a little bit of play remaining. Tried to redo the Radias Arm bushings as suggested by Bill but the bolts inside the lower part of spring will require a run to the tool store cause I can't get to them with the wrenches I have.
Just like Happy jack suggested with the PB Blaster, soak the bolts several dyas before you try to loosen them. If the c bushings and radius arm bushings don't tighten up the remaining slack it still could be the rag joint and then the steering box.
