no trailer lights
pulled the boat home in the dark. Seems my lights dont work, I'm gonna investigate in the morning, but is there a fuse for the light hookup on an o2 f250?

Yes. Had the same problem with my brother's company truck, found the fuse blown in the panel below the steering wheel. It was a real pain too, since U-Haul wouldn't let us leave with the trailer until the lights worked and there weren't any spares in the truck. Had to go to the parts store for a fuse and back for the trailer.

Maybe it's different on the 02, but my 99 has the trailer fuses located in the bank under the hood. There are different fuses for running and brake/turn lights. Of course I had already proceeded to jumper from the truck tail lights to the trailer connection to get the lights working. Then my buddy showed up and said hey dummy, just replace the blown fuses......

You should always disconnect the lights before you launch or load the boat.
The problem usually occcurs when you load up then drive home. You can't wait for the light sockets to dry, so check them and seal them the best you can.
