Interior cleaning

Hello all!

Anyone have a preferred method and/or product for cleaning the seats and interior for their Ranger? I've got a 2004 FX4 with the black/grey cloth seats and Im wondering what would be a good product to use on them.

I love the way the black seats look, but since they are black, every little scuff mark shows up on them. I was/am using Armor All(spelled right? ) cleaning wipes and Armor All orange cleaner on the dash and seats, then the Armor All "shiny" wipes on the dash.

I have the same seats as you in two of my trucks. I have found a steam, carpt extractor works best with carpet extractor ok solution. I usually use pro force carpet extractor concentrate. Drys fast, residue free and smells light but fresh. I would stay away from armor all. It contains silicone and poly silicone oils which tend to dry and crack vinyls... Any product that says apply a second coat for more shine usually contains silicone...bad for paint and for vinyl..

In my manual it says not to use Armor All. It states that it already has some kind of sealant on it, and that Armor All could cause damage. I use simple hot water to clean my seats. No soap.

Check out the Appearance and Dress Up section below. I learn all kinds of great tips there.
