Boost - How much is too much?

Boost - How much is too much?
So how much boost is too much on an '05 6.0 PSD? At what point do I need to consider an overboost eliminator product? And then... which are the most effective?
Truck is all stock except for 4" MBRP turbo back with the cat still in place. Also have EGT, boost and trans temp gauges.

Yea 30 is about max. itll boost more if you want it to.... I remember when mine went past 30~35 ish the tube after the intercooler blew right off and I had to pull over to tighten it back on. And yes blown head gaskets.

well, theres on way to find out how much is too much....lol..my mustang didn't fare to well when i missed the 2/3 shift an 25 psi of boost from my paxton novi 2000... BOOOOOOM.....clunk, clunk, clunk.....
