Hard Shifting after computer re-flash

Hey everyone,

I hope someone can help me. I have a 1999 V10 Auto and I just took my truck to the dealer after the Check Engine light came on. The dealer replaced the DPFE sensor as it failed.

Now that I have my truck back, the automatic transmission is shifting very hard. I assume that it is the computer re-learning as the computer was probably flashed at the dealership. Truck seems to have way more power than before I took it in, but now the hard shifting. It happens for every gear and it seems to be shifting quicker between gears.

How long does it take for the computer to re-learn the correct shifting etc???

Did you do the Torqueshift Relearnin Strategy Procedure?

Even though he doesn't have a Torqshift, that's a good guide to use.
