hey guys built a carbed motor for my 91 reg cvab short box and ive ran into the problem of finding a vacum advance distributor that will fit the block, so i think im only left with the option of figuring out how to make the distributor that i had work... so if anybody has a wiring diagram of wires goin into the distributor cause i know it has an internal module so it should work unless it has something to do the the computer that was previously in the truck, im in a bit of a jam so if anyone could help me id greatly apreaciate it
I don't know what price range you are looking for but Summit Racing usually has the MSD ones for the Mustang that will work if I am not mistaken. If not call them and they should be able to help. Is it a H.O. motor that you have built or not. I am not certain if that makes a difference for the dist. or not but it's an avenue to explore. They also of course have other brands, I was just suggesting them as they were the first to pop into my head
i tried geting a vacum advance distributor but the lower half os a diferent legth this is the last thing i need for my truck to run and i dont want to go spend 400 bucks on an msd distributor and for it to be diferent
