Got troubles?

I've sure gotten old! I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees Fought prostate cancer and diabetes. I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, winded, and subject to black outs. Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation; hardly feel my hands and feet anymore. Can't remember if I'm 85 or 92. Have lost all my friends. But, thank God, I still have my driver's license.

On my way to work today on I75 all of a sudden I came up upon congestion. Everyone was hitting their brakes. Turns out there was an old couple in the middle of 5 lanes going 35 in a 70 mph. When I say old I mean OLD. They looked well into their 80's. I feel sorry for them though. I hope when and if I get in that condition one day that I realize that driveing may not be the best thing for me. But, I doubt it.

When I'm having one of my bad days (rheumatoid and osteoarthritis) I just find a joint that isn't hurting and hit it with something heavy. It takes my mind off the joints that WERE hurting. Makes it hard to drive though, with all the tears.......

If you can keep the flow of tears nice and even it doesn't blur your vision as much.

My wife and I got to laughing this last week. We just bought our first travel trailer this year, and we went camping for a few days last week.

While we were setting up camp, my wife said "heck honey, in two years neither one of us are going to be in good enough shape to hook or un-hook the trailer"!

Yeah, I thought I had that solved by buying a motorhome. (E350) Now I have to hook up my Jeep to the motorhome.
