Trans Fluid Question
I'm ready to change auto trans fluid in my 05 PSD.
My question is, after I drain it, do I need to remove the pan for any reason? Is there another filter inside (under the pan) that needs service?

Good question! I do know that in a gasser transmission once you drop the pan, you get the overfill protector dropping in your face so be careful. The overfill protector is a long plastic float that reaches up into the dipstick tube. You also have to remove the pan to get to the tranny filter.
This is on gassers but I have to assume our trannies are similar.
