EBPV on 2001 PSD
I have a 2001 f-350 PSD and I am currently rebuilding the turbo. I have heard some talk about gutting the EBPV while the turbo is apart.Does anyone know what the advantage to EBPV gutting is and what the advantages and disadvantages are?

One advantage is it will never stick on you like mine did, one disadvantage is you will no longer be able to modify it to be used for an exhaust brake. While i had my turbo out i just removed it and put a turbonetics high flow outlet and did the non ebpv pedestal. Glad i did that aswell as the o rings had started to leak.
