Right turn signals not working.Park lights work but no 4 ways or turn signals on right side front or rear. I can here them clicking, its not the bulbs and all fuses are good. Right dash light for signals not working either.Hope this is not a problem in the steering colum? Anybody advice on this?
Well this really turning into a mess. When I hit the brake lights blows fuse for the 4 way, brake lights!(same fuse)L-turns work R - turns do not. This is ORG 68000 miles one clean truck never played with. I am not good with electric problems at all.If anybody has any idea where I should start,Please jump in here. Thanks a head of time.
Remember, on 80-86 F series truck everything runs through the turn signal switch. I had turn signals every place but the left rear, also the left rear brake light isn't working. Well, first place I went was the bulb. I checked the bulb in another socket it was good, well maybe a bad ground connection, No it was OK. BOTTOM LINE IT WAS THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH. I will strongly suggest if you are replacing the switch, that you pay the extra money and buy an OEM FORD SWITCH, from a dealer. They are available some dealers stock them some have to order. FACTORY FORD SWITCHES ARE AVAILABLE. So don't let them tell you they aren't this is a good way to find a good dealer. I just bought on from Gallagher Ford in Elko Nevada, in April. They stocked it. The OEM FORD switches last longer and work smoother IMO & experience.
